Bactana is a rapidly growing company at the forefront of identifying and isolating molecules expressed from anaerobic microbes. We are developing therapies for pets that treat metabolic conditions and other diseases while also developing sustainable products to reduce the use of antibiotics and natural resources during livestock production.   • Location: UCONN TIP, Farmington, CT 06032

    Hours: From 5-10 hours/week depending on candidates’ availability.

    Schedule: Thurs: 9 am-1 pm, Fri: 2 pm-4 pm, a few additional hours during the week as needed

     Position Overview:

    We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to assist in our lab. Our work involves bacterial fermentation and freeze-drying processes, requiring tasks that are hands-on but not highly technical. Prior lab experience is a plus but not required.
